Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Tempo Mom platform at tempo.mom and all dapps hosted thereunder (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tempo Mom (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Tempo Mom is a decentralised application (dapp) ecosystem built on the Tempo blockchain (chain ID 4217). The Platform provides access to onchain games, DeFi protocols, NFT utilities, and other decentralised services, all powered by stablecoins.

The Platform acts as a front-end interface to smart contracts deployed on a public blockchain. We do not custody, control, or have the ability to reverse any on-chain transaction. All interactions are final and irreversible once confirmed on-chain.

Independence notice: Tempo Mom is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected to Tempo Labs, the Tempo Foundation, or any other entity responsible for the Tempo network or Tempo chain infrastructure. Use of the Tempo blockchain by this Platform is independent and at our own initiative.

3. Eligibility

You must meet all of the following requirements to use the Platform:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Not be located in, or a resident or national of, any jurisdiction where use of the Platform would be prohibited or restricted under applicable law.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• Not be on any government or regulatory watch-list that would prohibit your use of blockchain services.

4. Wallets & Self-Custody

To interact with dapps on the Platform you must connect a compatible self-custodial wallet (e.g. MetaMask, Rabby, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet). You are solely responsible for:

• Safeguarding your seed phrase and private keys.
• All transactions initiated from your wallet address.
• Ensuring your wallet is configured with the Tempo network (chain ID 4217).
• Any gas fees or transaction costs incurred.

We will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or any sensitive wallet credential. Any communication claiming to be from Tempo Mom that requests such information should be treated as a scam.

5. Risks

Interacting with blockchain-based applications involves significant risks, including but not limited to:

• Smart contract risk — bugs or vulnerabilities in smart contract code may result in loss of funds.
• Market risk — the value of stablecoins and other digital assets may fluctuate.
• Network risk — blockchain congestion, forks, or outages may affect your ability to transact.
• Regulatory risk — laws governing digital assets vary by jurisdiction and may change without notice.
• Phishing & scams — malicious actors may attempt to impersonate the Platform or its team.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should obtain independent professional advice before making any financial decision.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other illicit financial activity.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or exploit vulnerabilities in the Platform or its smart contracts without prior written authorisation.
• Conduct Sybil attacks, wash trading, or other market manipulation.
• Circumvent geographic or access restrictions imposed by applicable laws.
• Distribute malware or engage in phishing activities.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software on the Platform (excluding open-source smart contracts and third-party materials) are the property of Tempo Mom and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Smart contracts deployed on-chain may be open-source; their applicable licences govern any permitted use.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT ON THE PLATFORM.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEMPO MOM AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE PLATFORM (IF ANY) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tempo Mom and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in a mutually agreed-upon neutral jurisdiction.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms. Because all transactions are on-chain, termination of Platform access does not affect previously completed transactions.
